The Women Cell of Raja Peary Mohan College was established in 2012 and named ‘Mitali’. Since its formation Mitali has taken over numerous activities for the welfare of female students and staff. 

Vision and Mission:

• To provide guidelines for protection of women
• To provide the environment to ensure basic right to work and study with dignity. 
• To promote gender equality. 
• To act as guidance cum counselling centre for female students and help them overcome various socio-economic and cultural barriers. 

Objectives:

• To prevent gender discrimination and promote gender equality 
• To promote a social, physical and psychological environment that will raise awareness about and deter acts against women
• To undertake gender sensitization programmes within and outside the campus.
