National Integration Committee

Objective:

To teach and inform the students about national integration and its importance for our country India. 

Functions: 

The committee will 

  • Organize lectures and seminars on the theme of National Integration.
  • Make students understand that we have diversity yet we live in unity and harmony.
  • Conduct quizzes, essays, and poster competitions.

Events:

  • Seminar: National Integration Committee in collaboration with the Department of Political Science and IQAC of Raja Peary Mohan College organized a seminar on 12th May 2022 at 12:30 pm at Centenary Hall (RPMC). The title of the seminar was “National Integration in India: Importance and Challenges”. The resource person was Dr.  Biswanath Chakraborty, Head, and Professor, Department of Political Science, Rabindra Bharati University, West Bengal.
  • Online Inter-College Essay Competition: The National Integration Committee in collaboration with IQAC of Raja Peary Mohan College organized an online inter-college essay competition. In the essay competition, more than 60 students from various colleges participated. Out of the 60 student’s essays, the best three were selected by the panel of experienced faculty members of our college. The first Position went to Arpan Pal of Ramsaday College, Amta, Howrah. The second position was given to Eshika Paul of Serampore College, Serampore, Hooghly and the third position had gone to Suparna Ghosh of Raja Peary Mohan College. Certificates and prizes were given to the three winners.
